Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information and adhering to data protection protocols
  • Entering customer and account data into our digital databases, ensuring accuracy and meeting specified deadlines
  • Compiling, verifying, and organizing information based on priorities to prepare it for computer entry
  • Reviewing data for errors or deficiencies, correcting incompatibilities when possible, and checking the final output
  • Researching and gathering additional information for incomplete documents
  • Applying data program techniques and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Data Entry Principles and Practices: A strong understanding of data entry principles and practices, including data management tools and techniques.
  • Touch Typing and Database Management: Proficiency in touch typing and database management tools, including data entry software and database management systems.
  • Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data entry errors and inconsistencies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
