Job Summary

As a Retail Customer Service Cashier at blithequark, you'll be the face of our brand, providing fast, friendly, and accurate services to our customers. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean and welcoming spaces while showcasing your friendly face. No experience? No problem! Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs

• Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products
• Maintain a clean and organized working area, including the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
• Perform additional duties as needed, including cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles

Essential Qualifications

* Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds

• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience

• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
