The Role

As a Part Time Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through inbound calls, data entry, and basic administrative support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to inbound calls from claimants, gathering information, and creating new records for each claimant
  • Conducting simple intake questionnaires to ensure accurate and comprehensive claim documentation
  • Utilizing strong typing skills to efficiently complete data entry tasks
  • Communicating clearly and effectively over the phone, ensuring that customers feel heard and understood
  • Providing basic administrative support to ensure seamless claim processing

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience as a call center customer service representative, front desk receptionist, or client intake professional
  • Strong typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers over the phone
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a focus on compliance and regulatory requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications
