Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that require attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong computer skills. Your duties will include:

  • Data Entry and Management: Inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers, and double-checking your work to ensure accuracy.
  • Data Verification and Correction: Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking the output to ensure data integrity.
  • Research and Data Retrieval: Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, and applying data program techniques and procedures to ensure data accuracy.
  • Report Generation and Storage: Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations to ensure data security.
  • Document Scanning and Printing: Scanning documents and printing files, when needed, to support data entry and management tasks.
  • Customer Service Support: Providing exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and updating order statuses.

Requirements

To succeed as an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will need:

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, including touch typing and database management tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to think analytically and resolve data-related issues.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Experience: Experience working in a data entry or customer service role is a plus, but not required.
