Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Revenue Recovery Department as a Project Associate. This is a hybrid position, with a mix of remote and in-office work, offering the perfect balance of flexibility and collaboration. As a Project Associate, you will be responsible for supporting our team of experts in various aspects of revenue recovery, including medical records management, data entry, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Associate, you will be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Medical Records Management: Retrieve patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring accurate and timely access to critical information.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Extract and enter necessary information from hospital patient accounting systems, generating reports and analyzing data to support revenue recovery efforts.
  • Communication and Outreach: Make phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Project Coordination: Assist with information gathering and data entry as needed by the recovery team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of projects.
  • Document Scanning and Indexing: Scan and index documents, maintaining accurate and organized records for easy access and retrieval.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a focus on business, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Data Entry and Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data entry and analysis, with experience working with hospital patient accounting systems and medical records management software.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
