Your Role at blithequark

As an Experienced Homeowner's Insurance Customer Service Specialist, you will be the face and voice of our company, interacting with clients and their customers to provide exceptional service and support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a high volume of customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicating effectively via phone, email, and letters to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Documenting all client communication across multiple platforms to maintain accurate records
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and their customers, providing expert guidance and support
  • Collaborating with our insurance provider clients to deliver outstanding overall customer service

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a call-center environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of homeowner's insurance policies and procedures
  • Ability to work remotely, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace
  • Demonstrated communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and customers
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
  • Strong independent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we welcome candidates with:

  • 4+ years of insurance experience, including an insurance agent license
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
  • An Associate's Degree or higher in a related field

What We Offer

As an independent contractor with blithequark, you'll enjoy:

  • A variable schedule with hours between 8:30am and 6:00pm EST, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required
  • A remote work environment, with the flexibility to work from home
  • Paid training to ensure your success in the role
  • A competitive hourly rate of $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
  • Opportunities for bonus pay and career advancement
