About the Job

The InHome team at blithequark is building products using cutting-edge technologies to deliver the next frontier of convenience for busy families and individuals who need an extra hand. Our team is committed to fundamentally improving the lives of our customers by eliminating the burden of planning and shopping from their daily routines. As a Staff Item Director, you will be responsible for owning the customer delivery experience, partnering closely with our customer success team, and working cross-functionally to acquire insights and buy-in on projects to keep our customer satisfaction scores high.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and develop an item strategy for the InHome client experience
  • Build the item roadmap
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to push the boundaries on creating the best client experience
  • Analyze progress of features through data and key metrics and be able to communicate wins and opportunity areas to leadership effectively
  • Define item KPIs and adjust the item to continue meeting KPIs
  • Lead customer research and translate their needs into requirements and business impact
  • Act as a friendly, supportive resource and advocate for customers and their concerns
  • Launch new features on time and with a high level of quality, including testing and QA

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a product director, with a degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Specialty in item design for client experience; conception to launch
  • Experience driving item vision and go-to-market strategies
  • Passion for emerging technologies

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following qualifications, you will be an ideal candidate for this role:

  • Experience working in an agile or lean environment
  • Experience with last-mile item management
  • Prior startup, incubator experience, balancing technical and business requirements
  • Ability to create and present strategic experiences that ladder up into business strategy, objectives, and opportunities
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related area and 6 years of experience as a product director, preferably managing consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
