Job Responsibilities as a Remote Online Chat Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for answering incoming customer live chats, evaluating customer interactions, and escalating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary. You will also create relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs, respond to customer questions and inquiries, and provide administrative support to the customer service team as needed.

  • Answer incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
  • Evaluate customer interactions and escalate issues to the Online Chat Manager when appropriate
  • Create relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Respond to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately and concisely
  • Provide administrative support to the customer service team and assist with overflow work as needed

Essential Qualifications for Success

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in customer service, strong telephone etiquette, familiarity with CRM tools, and excellent communication skills.
