Experienced Full Stack School-Based 100% Remote Social Worker – Virtual K-12 Counseling and Support Services

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and licensed School-Based Social Worker to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will involve providing virtual individual and group counseling to students in K-12, addressing their emotional, social, and academic challenges through online therapy. You will work closely with educators, parents, and school staff to offer well-rounded student support, conduct assessments and design personalized treatment plans, handle crisis situations, and keep accurate, confidential records of all counseling sessions and student progress.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide virtual individual and group counseling to students in K-12, addressing their emotional, social, and academic challenges through online therapy.

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to offer well-rounded student support, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and design personalized treatment plans to meet individual student needs.
• Handle crisis situations and refer students to additional resources as needed.
• Keep accurate, confidential records of all counseling sessions and student progress.
• Develop and maintain relationships with students, families, and school staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in virtual counseling and social work, and incorporate new knowledge and skills into practice.

Qualifications

* Valid Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in both Illinois and your state of residence.

• Experience providing counseling or social work services to K-12 students, preferably in a virtual setting.
• Proficiency with virtual counseling tools and telehealth practices, including video conferencing software and electronic health records.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
• Compassionate, patient, and student-focused in approach, with a commitment to promoting student well-being and academic success.
