The Role: Finance Manager- DTC Global Subscription Planning
As a Finance Manager- DTC Global Subscription Planning, you will be responsible for leading the consolidation of global subscribers, including Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. You will identify key issues and provide subscriber transparency from a high-level perspective to help create solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading consolidations of global subscribers, including Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+
- Identifying key issues and providing subscriber transparency from a high-level perspective to help create solutions
- Creating and tracking KPI's to drive execution and operational improvement
- Leading subscriber forecast consolidations for all DTC businesses globally (Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+)
- Developing/building impactful, compelling presentation materials that effectively communicate global subscriber projections, including drivers and business performance
- Presenting to leadership; opportunity to provide a consolidated, high-level view of global subscriber trends, development areas, and opportunities for growth
- Maintaining a strong understanding of global operating performance, major partnerships, discounted promotions, key content releases, product changes, global pricing strategies, challenges facing the businesses, and relevant trends in the streaming industry
Required Qualifications & Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills paired with outstanding critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills, with a track record of success when partnering with key business operators
- Minimum 4+ years of professional work experience in media, tech, strategy, business planning, management consulting, or investment banking/private equity
- Significant analytical and modeling experience, including ingesting and analyzing large amounts of data in order to drive decision-making
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment, managing many stakeholders and building relationships throughout the company
- Very organized with the ability to prioritize activities, effectively manage timelines, and deal optimally with pressure
- Passion for the media industry and content, as well as a natural curiosity
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, Economics, or similar subject area with an analytical bias

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary, bonus, and/or long-term incentive units, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, financial, and other benefits. The hiring range for this position in CA is $123,000.00-$165,000.00 per year, with the base pay actually offered taking into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
