In addition, the Packing Operator will stack and pile finished goods into containers, while making sure our products are consistent to the customer's request.Essential Job Functions: (The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there are a limited number of employees whom performance of the function can be distributed.)Clean and prepare containers for packingStack and pile finished goods into containersPrepare goods for shipmentCheck to ensure containers and products are damage freeVerify if items pulled out of package are correctMaintain database of packagesFill out forms and papers to record measurement, weight, and product countRemove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docksSeal and label each containerMove completed packages for loadingLoad or stuff different products or merchandiseCount itemsReview packing listsMaintain a constant workflow for the Production DepartmentResponsible for inspecting own work, and the work of others, to ensure that the customer is receiving the highest quality product possibleMaintain a clean and organized work area including performing general housekeeping duties i.e. sweeping, etc.Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas workReliable, regular attendance is essentialPerforms duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policiesOther duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or SupervisorEssential Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
