Full Stack Engineer, Senior | AllConnect

This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our South Charlotte, NC Headquarters (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.

This role is not open to visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship including those on OPT and STEM-EXT OPT, nor is it available to work corp-to-corp.

As our new Senior Software Engineer for Allconnect, you'll be the backend technical lead working with APIs and GraphQL to help millions of people find the right internet and utility services. We're the tech behind Allconnect.com and MyMove.com, connecting real people with essential home services when they need them most.

What You'll Do:

• Lead our backend team technically, setting direction for our AWS infrastructure and services
• Work collaboratively with other engineering teams to integrate our services into their platform
• Function as a full stack engineer when needed, with opportunities to own projects end-to-end
• Guide key architectural discussions and decisions
• Work with GraphQL schema implementation and maintenance
• Build secure, scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions
• Implement observability patterns to ensure our APIs
• Collaborate through pair-programming and code reviews
• Work directly with product management teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Apply DevOps principles with metrics and monitoring
• Find opportunities to add value: set standards, build tools, and automate processes
• Contribute to our culture of experimentation and intellectual curiosity
• Help build a positive team environment
• Leverage AI to amplify your work and explore new possibilities

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience in end user production environments
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python or similar programming languages
• Experience with GraphQL APIs
• Experience with Database technologies (PostgreSQL,DynamoDB)
• Experience with Next.js and NestJS
• Experience integrating with external APIs
• Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Proficiency with version control tools (Git)
• Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform)
• Familiarity with telemetry and monitoring tools (New Relic, AWS Cloud Watch)
• Experience with Agile methodologies and unit testing
• Experience with a CI/CD pipeline
• A growth mindset and a desire to continuously learn
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation

• USA Compensation Range: $100,000 - 150,000 *Note actual compensation is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
