Currently Lab49 is looking for a Mexico-based Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic Global Talent Acquisition team. As a Technical Recruiter, you will:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their teams’ hiring needs and team dynamics.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for identifying passive and active candidates who strive for innovation within their respective field.
  • Act as a consultant through the hiring processes, HR related matters, compliance, compensation, leveling guidelines, etc.
  • Negotiate potential offers and successfully close candidates.
  • Partner with cross functional teams, HR Partners, Recruiting Operations as needed through the recruiting process.
  • Provide excellent, timely customer service to our hiring teams and ensure a seamless candidate experience for all potential candidates.
  • Proven background in leveraging innovative research & sourcing methods to hire for niche areas and “hard-to-fill” roles.
  • Solid experience in partnering effectively with all types and levels of professionals, including senior leaders.
  • Partner closely with all hiring managers, as a trusted partner and valued advisor, building a deep understanding of their business, role requirements and desired candidate profiles while delivering outstanding client service.
  • Identify high quality candidates through the proactive sourcing of active and passive candidates via direct channels, job postings, social media, web sourcing, talent mapping, networking, and diversity & inclusion practices.
  • Update and maintain Lever Applicant Tracking System, while owning hiring processes to ensure adherence to local compliance regulations.
  • As a Technical Recruiter, you will have:

  • At least 5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, preferably in a professional services environment, specifically focused on filling Technology roles within the Engineering and Architecture areas.
  • An existing network of senior English-speaking technology candidates (engineers, product managers, UX designers, etc.)
  • Knack for building, fostering, and nurturing relationships as a true business partner with senior leadership and members of cross-functional teams at all levels within the organization.
  • Advanced sourcing skills to attract passive candidates and build strong talent pipelines.
  • Active knowledge and participation in social media and branding tools (sites including but not limited to LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, SeekOut).
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (we use Lever).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of consulting and financial services markets.
  • Approachable, collaborative, and high-energy, yet analytical and data driven.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (C1+) including the ability to craft compelling recruiting copy.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with business stakeholders in different regions, ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to switch to a hybrid format, visiting the CDMX office on a weekly , if required
