A Data Management Developer with skills in Python plays a valuable role that combines backend development, data handling, and system integration in support of ServiceNow operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Processing and Management

• Builds and maintains tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) across systems (e.g., databases, APIs, files).

• Cleans, consolidates, and prepares data for use in ServiceNow (e.g., CMDB updates, reports, workflows).

Developing Supporting Applications Outside of ServiceNow

• Uses Flask to build lightweight REST APIs and microservices that act as bridges between external systems and ServiceNow.

• These services can validate, transform, or queue data before it’s pushed to ServiceNow.

Integration with External Systems

• Develops custom Python-based connectors or cron jobs to integrate ServiceNow with other internal or third-party systems using REST or SOAP APIs.

• Automates data syncs (e.g., importing inventory or ticketing data into ServiceNow).

Supporting Process Automation

• Creates helper scripts or microservices to automate repetitive ServiceNow operations (e.g., record updates, data validation, task creation).

We expect you to have:

• Junior experience with Python – for scripting, ETL, API calls, data parsing, and automation.

• Junior experience with Flask is advantage – for building RESTful APIs and services that extend ServiceNow capabilities.

• Active English

• Troubleshoots integration or data issues and proposes effective solutions.
