Why this role?

We’re looking for a driven, user-focused Sales Engineer to serve as the critical link between our customers and our product engineering teams. You'll support the adoption of Snyk in new organizations and help to evolve Snyk's offerings based on customer needs. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing sales team as Snyk helps millions of developers innovate securely in the AI era.

• Work closely with sales representatives to deepen understanding of Snyk during sales processes.

• Become a technical product expert, capable of giving in-depth demos to new and existing customers.

• Educate companies that use open-source software about the importance of empowering developers to stay secure.

• Interface with our engineering, product, and customer success teams to build solutions that solve customer problems.

• Shape and inform decisions on new features based on your experience with customers.

• Architect custom workarounds and platform integrations.

• Use our AI-powered tools to help customers find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities in their code

• Familiarity with a wide variety of coding languages and how they work.

• Strong knowledge of the developer and DevOps ecosystems and practices.

• A curious nature and a love for learning about new technology.

• Experience working closely with highly technical customers.

• An understanding of people and what motivates them.

• A team-oriented mindset.

• Have experience in solutions engineering, ideally within the developer or security space.

• Have worked in early-stage, fast-growth startups, especially in developer tooling.

• Have hands-on experience with AI or modern security tools
