We are looking for a

Software Engineering Manager to work on a project in the healthcare industry.

You will be part of a distributed team working on data-driven solutions, scalable platforms, and transformative systems to enhance patient care and create efficiencies for physicians. This role combines leadership, technical depth, and collaboration, at the forefront of modern healthcare technology.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership and communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail.

What you will do:

-Lead with ownership: align team efforts with the project’s vision and strategic goals.

-Set and enforce high standards for code quality, architecture, and process rigor.

-Deliver high-quality solutions on time while balancing trade-offs and aligning with business needs.

-Partner with Product Managers, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to define scalable, customer-centric solutions.

-Engage with the technical details of your team’s work to ensure sound decision-making.

-Collaborate effectively across Product, Operations, and Growth teams, providing clear communication and actionable feedback.

-Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

-Champion privacy and security, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and HITRUST.

What you will bring:

-4+ years managing software engineers at different levels, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams in dynamic environments.

-5+ years of hands-on full-stack web application development with strong API development skills and experience in highly data-driven systems.

-Proficiency in modern frameworks and experience leveraging AI-enabled development tools like Cursor, Claude, etc., to improve team velocity and quality. Strong preference for Python, TypeScript and React experience.

-Experience solving complex problems that deliver tangible value to customers.

-Ability to work effectively with Product Management, UX, and other stakeholders.

-Ability to align technical execution with business goals while identifying risks and opportunities.

-Able to tailor messages to both technical and non-technical audiences.

-Experience working with diverse teams and leveraging varied perspectives.

Nice to have:

-Experience in healthcare, insurance, or financial technology ecosystems.

-Familiarity with regulated environments, privacy, and data security practices.
