Job Summary

The Principal .Net Engineer plays a pivotal role in enhancing existing web applications and developing new ones that support mission-critical business processes. This position is responsible for building scalable, reliable, and secure systems that directly impact both customers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative mindset, working closely with project managers, designers, and engineers while maintaining independence and ownership of deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance web applications using .Net frameworks and RESTful APIs.

  • Build scalable, secure, and maintainable back-end solutions following best coding practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective solutions.

  • Support front-end integration and conduct peer code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.

  • Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security, leveraging microservices and containerization.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in .Net development, with strong proficiency in .Net Core 8/9 and C# 12/13.

  • Expertise in building RESTful APIs, using Entity Framework Core, and working with PostgreSQL databases.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, containerized microservices, and task schedulers (e.g., Hangfire).

  • Knowledge of dependency injection, configuration management, and unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit).

  • Strong English communication skills and a self-driven, results-oriented mindset with focus on clean code.
