We’re growing 3× year-over-year, have hit multimillion ARR, and process over 60 TB of GTM data monthly. Your Mission

As a Technical Recruiter, your mission is to drive the full-cycle recruiting process that fuels our growth. You’ll partner with hiring managers and leadership to define hiring needs, source and attract top technical talent, manage the interview process end-to-end, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience at every stage.. This is a FTE role based in our San Francisco HQ (in-person, 5 days a week) — giving you the opportunity to be fully embedded in the heart of our team, learn alongside world-class talent, and make a measurable impact from day one. What You’ll Do

  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements and team needs

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across technical roles (engineering, AI/ML, research, product)

  • Build and manage strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing and inbound channels

  • Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and guide candidates through the process

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects HockeyStack’s values

  • Collaborate with the team to define, optimize, and scale our recruiting processes

  • Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on pipeline health and hiring progress

  • Utilize tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and sourcing platforms to drive efficiency

What We’re Looking For

  • Ownership-first mindset — you take initiative, move fast, and figure things out

  • Thrive in early-stage, high-urgency environments where speed and impact matter

  • Fully committed to working in-person 5 days/week at our SF HQ

  • 3–7+ years of technical recruiting experience (startup or high-growth environment preferred)

  • Proven ability to recruit for specialized technical roles (AI/ML, engineering, research)

  • Proficiency with recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Juicebox, GitHub, Ashby)

  • Strong understanding of technical roles, programming languages, frameworks, and tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft engaging outreach

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a track record of closing top talent

  • Passionate about technology, AI, and building world-class teams

As part of our San Francisco, California-based team, the on target earnings range for this role is $120,000– $180,000 USD annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
