The Minnesota Veterans Home-Bemidji is seeking a Resident Assistant to help support the residents' needs by assisting with limited personal care and providing companionship, food service, snack preparation, and activity support! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assist residents in social activities and with their personal interests. Help create opportunities for social interactions, personal routines, and exercise within the resident community. - Serve food in a clean, cheerful environment to help build connections and a sense of community. - Develop household customs and rituals by facilitating household-related activities. This position is designated as part-time and primarily evening shift. The work schedule will include at least 24 hours per 2-week pay period and may include additional work hours, based on business needs. This position is not initially eligible for health and dental insurance benefits.

Minimum Qualifications

Additional Requirements - A Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) background check may be conducted on the top finalist(s) for the position.
