Data Entry Assistant - Remote Work (Night Shifts Optional)

Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Assistant to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers flexibility with optional night shifts, making it ideal for those looking to work in a flexible, home-based environment. As a Data Entry Assistant, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and managing data in various systems. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our data while contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • * Accurately enter and update data into the companys systems and databases.
  • * Ensure data integrity by reviewing and verifying information before input.
  • * Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • * Assist with the preparation and formatting of reports and documents as needed.
  • * Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • * Coordinate with team members to resolve data-related issues or discrepancies.
  • * Manage and maintain records and files in an organized manner.
  • * Adhere to deadlines and ensure work is completed on time.
  • * Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • * High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry or office administration preferred.
  • * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • * Strong typing skills with a minimum of 40 words per minute (WPM).
  • * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • * Experience with data entry software and CRM systems is a plus.
  • * Access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work.
  • Experience
  • * Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or office management is preferred but not required.
  • * Experience working remotely is a plus.
  • * Familiarity with handling large amounts of data and working in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
  • Working Hours
  • * This is a remote, full-time or part-time position.
  • * Regular day shift hours, with optional night shift hours available.
  • * Flexibility to adjust work hours based on personal preference and time zone.
