Role SummaryVacation is looking for a Production Designer to join our design team and bring the brand's vision to life across packaging, digital, retail, and marketing collateral. This role will work closely with the Vacation Design Manager, VP of Design and the rest of the Vacation Design team to create pixel-perfect, print-ready files and to maintain them within the Vacation filing systems. Please note that this role is 80% technical design creation, 20% creative. ResponsibilitiesProduction Design Execute final production files for primary and secondary packaging, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. Optimize approved designs and set up print-ready dielines. Prep and release high-quality mechanical files for packaging, print materials, point-of-sale fixtures, out-of-home campaigns, marketing mailers, event ephemera, and more Technically interpret dielines and be able to translate it to to-scale mockups Organize and maintain files within the established Vacation Dropbox and Notion file structure, and maintain the Vacation asset library Support creative Quality Assurance (QA) on proofs and samples (digital and physical); ensuring that art proofs and samples match the art provided to the vendor Build approved email designs in Klaviyo Studio Design Manage changes — including legal, regulatory, copy, and more — across existing artwork Assist in resizing, reformatting, and adapting creative assets across multiple platforms including email, social, paid media, and web Assist with low-lift concepting across a variety of media Complete ad hoc design work as needed QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or closely related discipline 2-3 years of professional experience in production design, within an agency or in a corporate environment Extensive knowledge in current design practices, techniques, print production, and fixture design Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and After Effects Experience in file system management (Dropbox and Notion) Experience with project management systems such as Asana Experience working as a part of a fully remote team Extremely organized and detail oriented in your work Additional consideration will be given to candidates with video editing experience Assertive in your communication style Excited to grow Vacation into a household name and have fun in the process You use sunscreen Compensation & BenefitsEmployee Equity Options Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision plans with 100% coverage for employees WFH stipend and an annual learning stipend 15 Days PTO Complimentary Vacation Products What We ValueVacation employees have a deep hunger and eagerness to go above and beyond in everything they do.
