We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tanium Endpoint Engineer to join our team. As a crucial member of our team, you will leverage the Tanium platform to deliver exceptional endpoint management and security services to our diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Tanium solutions for multiple clients, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security of their endpoint environments.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows within Tanium to streamline endpoint management tasks, including software deployment, configuration management, and incident response.
  • Lead and execute endpoint management and vulnerability management processes using Tanium, ensuring timely remediation and compliance across client networks.
  • Provide Level 3 support for Tanium-related issues, acting as a subject matter expert for both internal teams and clients.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Tanium configurations, processes, and client environments.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective Tanium-based solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and recommend enhancements to client endpoint security and management postures.
  • Stay current with the latest Tanium features, security threats, and industry best practices.
  • Assist in the integration of Tanium with other security tools and platforms.
  • Mentor junior team members and share Tanium expertise.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Tanium, including deployment, configuration, and daily operations in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience in automating endpoint management tasks using Tanium and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Deep understanding and practical experience in endpoint management methodologies and best practices utilizing Tanium.
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint security principles and practices.
  • Experience working in a Managed Services (MSP) environment is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) is a significant plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow (especially for integrations like incident management, CMDB, or automation workflows) is preferred.
  • Experience with Elastic Observability (Elastic Stack/ELK Stack for logging, monitoring, and analytics) is a plus.
  • Experience in developing automation workflows using Automate module for tasks such as software distribution, patching, and compliance management.
  • Tanium Certified Professional Endpoint Management (TCPEP), Tanium Certified Operator (TCO), and Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA) certification.
  • Experience with other endpoint security and management tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.
