Job Overview

We're looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our Income and Planning Innovation team. In this role, you will:

• Design, implement, and support data engineering solutions that enable data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data pipelines, architectures, and tools
• Work with large datasets to develop and implement data models, data warehouses, and business intelligence solutions
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in data engineering, architecture, and emerging technologies
• Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable data systems that meet business requirements

Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and deploying data engineering solutions using Azure products and services (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks)
• Collaborating with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions
• Performing data migration and data engineering tasks using various tools and technologies
• Providing technical leadership and expertise in data engineering, architecture, and emerging technologies
• Developing and maintaining scalable, efficient, and reliable data systems that meet business requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in software development, data engineering, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Experience with data engineering tools and technologies, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience with Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage
• Knowledge of data warehousing, business intelligence, and data visualization tools and technologies
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
• Certifications in data engineering, cloud computing, or related fields
