About the Opportunity

As a Senior Automation Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be a driving force in our software development lifecycle, championing quality through rigorous testing and automation. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans for security-focused applications, collaborating closely with software engineers, product managers, and other QA professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain detailed, both manual and automated, test plans encompassing a wide range of security functionalities. You will be instrumental in identifying test scope, objectives, and resource requirements.
• Automation Development & Execution: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. This includes creating reusable test components, maintaining test suites, and analyzing test results to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with software development teams to understand product requirements, design specifications, and system architectures. Provide timely and insightful feedback on potential quality risks and mitigation strategies.
• Defect Management: Thoroughly investigate, document, and track software defects using our defect tracking system. Work with developers to ensure timely resolution and retesting of identified issues.
• Test Environment Management: Contribute to the setup and maintenance of test environments, ensuring they are properly configured and aligned with testing needs.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve our QA processes, tools, and methodologies. Champion best practices in automation and quality assurance.
• Security Focus: Deeply understand security principles and vulnerabilities. Develop and execute tests specifically designed to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present comprehensive test reports, summarizing test results, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Product Test Automation Specialist, with a strong focus on security testing.
• Technical Expertise: Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), various testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python (or other programming languages) and ideally experience with one or more of the following software development languages: Swift, Objective-C.
• Troubleshooting: Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex software systems and identify root causes of defects.
• Automation Expertise: Experience in identifying automation opportunities and designing effective automation strategies to address test execution challenges.
• Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong organizational, planning, documentation, and presentation skills are essential.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and identify key insights.
• Passion for Security: A genuine passion for security technologies and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and user experiences.
