Job Title: Claims Reimbursement Associate - Remote Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Review and reconcile supporting payment details to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Verify policy terms of coverage and process payments due
- Ensure payments adhere to policy and departmental guidelines
- Manage ceded reinsurance billing, including invoice distribution, follow-up on outstanding amounts, and reporting
- Support reconciliation and escheat processes related to claim payments
- Cross-train and serve as a backup for other Finance team members as needed
- Perform additional duties to ensure the overall success of the Finance team
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Powercomp, Freedom Reinsurance System (FRS), and Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to take ownership
- Team-oriented, approachable, and self-motivating, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm
Preferred Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree in accounting or finance
