Lead Software Engineer - Remote Opportunity

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the design and development of software components and features, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build integrations and develop full slices of the application, from UI to data store.
• Designing and developing REST-based services, leveraging open-source frameworks such as Java or Spring, and participating in continuous integration and testing.
• Analyzing and improving the efficiency, scalability, and stability of applications, delivering impactful business value.
• Mentoring and coaching less experienced engineers, promoting innovative changes, and driving results at a team and product level.

We offer a competitive salary range of $160,300 - $204,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, parental leave, sick leave, and flex days, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) employer match.

Qualified candidates should possess:

• 10+ years of technology relevant work experience.
• 8+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java, Node.js, or SpringBoot.
• 8+ years of experience in SQL or NoSQL DB structures, experience with DB migration scripts.
• 6+ years of experience with various design and architectural patterns.
• 4+ years of experience working on applications that leverage Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• 4+ years of experience designing and developing in a micro-services based environment.
• 6+ years of experience architecting and developing large, complex applications.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience in an Agile (Scrum or KANBAN) working environment.
