As an HR Support Specialist, you will work under the direct supervision of our Vice President, Human Resources/Risk Management, and be responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality, exhibiting our company values, and providing high-quality service to all customers. Your duties will include:

• Providing exceptional customer support services, including responding to routine requests, answering phone calls, and greeting walk-in customers
• Assisting with recruitment functions, such as preparing and mailing application acknowledgments, administering skill tests, and scheduling newly hired employees for pre-employment processing
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including employee files, applications, and other human resource documents
• Coordinating departmental-related duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and preparing official personnel files

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma and at least five years of customer experience, with specific human resources experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and prior experience with an HRIS database preferred
• Professionalism, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic
