Certified Teacher for Small Group Intervention (K-12) - Part-Time Opportunity in West Florida
Job Summary:
Join the Catapult Learning team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students in West Florida! We are seeking qualified, experienced, and certified teachers to provide small group intervention in Reading and Math to students in grades K-12. As a part-time intervention teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, using a prescribed curriculum and instructional model to help students overcome skill deficits and achieve academic success.Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct small groups of students in Reading/ELA and Math, focusing on intervention and skill development.
- Deliver designated instructional models using company-designed materials and educational strategies.
- Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans, ensuring alignment with company-provided curriculum.
- Supervise students at all times, including escorting them safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
- Perform data entry, attend parent meetings/conferences, and maintain consistent communication with supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility.
- Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
- Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred.
