Title I Tutor (Limited Full-Time) - Supporting Student Success in Idaho Falls

Join our team at Idaho Falls School District 91 and make a difference in the lives of students as a Title I Tutor! We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to provide targeted support to students in reading and math. As a Title I Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential and succeed academically.

About the Role:

• Location: Remote (with some in-person requirements)
• Schedule: 29 hours per week
• Salary: $15.32 - $16.08 per hour (dependent on experience)
• Benefits: In accordance with Board policy

Responsibilities:

• Administer reading and math tests to identify student achievement levels
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and Building Administrators to determine instructional needs
• Provide targeted support to small groups and individual students in reading and math
• Maintain accurate records and track student progress
• Assist with data collection and reporting for state and federal agencies
• Participate in in-service classes, building meetings, and district meetings

Requirements:

• Minimum of 48 college credits or a minimum score of 460 on the ParaPro Praxis
• Knowledge and skills in teaching and using math and reading
• Ability to work with staff, students, and the public
• Computer knowledge and experience with word processing, email, and spreadsheets
• Previous experience preferred, but not required
