Role Description
This role involves working as a member of the performance testing team for TELUS Health proprietary software to meet the requirements of our new and existing clients.
- Execute performance and load tests on TELUS Health’s proprietary applications
- Write and maintain scripts in tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
- Monitor system performance, review logs, and assist with root cause analysis
- Support configuration and maintenance of test environments
- Collaborate with DevSecOps and development teams to troubleshoot performance issues
- Contribute to performance test reports with clear analysis and recommendations
- Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and upskilling initiatives
- Assist with special projects and other tasks, as required
Qualifications
- U.S. citizen and resident (due to security clearance requirements)
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in an information technology related field
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in QA or performance testing (employment, internship, or contract)
Requirements
- Familiarity with APM tools (e.g., Datadog, AppInsights, New Relic)
- Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of modern application and infrastructure concepts (containers, microservices)
- Professional, reliable, and eager to learn
