Weekend Associate Media Analyst (Remote, Part-Time)

As a Weekend Associate Media Analyst, you will play a vital role in assessing traditional, social, and broadcast media to provide clients with refined insights and trends shaping their industries.

In this fully remote, part-time position, you will work closely with our Media Analysts to deliver daily customized reports and news summaries to clients. Your analytical mind, self-motivation, and ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize our custom technology to prioritize and filter domestic and international news content
• Provide accurate content analysis and insights on client media trends to support Account Managers
• Curate customized client newsletters, highlighting significant company and stakeholder mentions, as well as industry trends
• Research and gather additional data to provide a comprehensive picture of people and events in the news

Desired Skills:

• Undergraduate degree in communications, journalism, public relations, English, or business (minimum 3.2 GPA)
• Strong reading comprehension, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret large amounts of news coverage and succinctly communicate trends and insights
• Intellectual curiosity, accountability, a sense of humor, and a commitment to staying on top of current events and global news
