Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced online course developer and instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching online courses in Health Sciences, Nutrition, and Fitness, working closely with instructional designers, administrators, and the assessment team to ensure a high-quality educational experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one of the following disciplines: Holistic Health, Alternative Medicine, Integrative Health, Herbal Healing, Global Health, Nutrition, Health and Wellness, Strength Training, Exercise and Fitness, or Special Populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and teach online courses in Health Sciences, Nutrition, and Fitness
• Collaborate with instructional designers, administrators, and the assessment team to define course expectations and outcomes
• Utilize LMS software (Canvas preferred) to design and deliver online courses
• Communicate effectively with students and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to meet course development and teaching deadlines

Requirements

• Master's degree in the discipline (doctorate preferred)
• Prior online course design experience in higher education
• Experience with LMS software (Canvas preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing innovative and engaging online education
