Job Summary:

Floor & Decor values its Retail Sales Clerks for their critical role in ensuring customers leave the store feeling satisfied with their purchases and overall shopping experience. As a key member of our team, you will:

• Connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations to drive sales and customer satisfaction
• Offer exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a safe and organized store environment, ensuring assigned areas are clutter-free, well-stocked, and compliant with company safety protocols
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to achieve sales quotas, share knowledge, and drive business growth
• Utilize our point-of-sale (POS) system to complete customer transactions, process returns and exchanges, and manage payments
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to our company's values, safety protocols, and customer service standards

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic math skills and proficiency in customer service
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail
• Forklift certification via F&D may be required for certain job positions
• Heavy equipment certification requires a drug test to be cleared, as per state laws

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

• Lifting and manipulating objects up to 60 pounds occasionally, or 20-30 pounds frequently
• Handling and feeling objects using hands and fingers
• Prolonged standing, walking, and balancing while performing tasks
