As an SIU Senior Investigator, you will be instrumental in helping us achieve this mission by:
- Conducting thorough investigations of suspected healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse
- Researching and preparing cases for clinical and legal review
- Documenting case activity and preparing written case summaries
- Collaborating with law enforcement agencies to prevent and prosecute healthcare fraud
- Providing trial testimony and presenting case findings to internal and external stakeholders
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 3-5 years of investigative experience in healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and open-source database search tools
- A bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field
- Ability to travel for business purposes
Preferred qualifications include certifications like Certified Professional Coder (CPC), AHFI, or CFE, as well as a foundational understanding of Self-Insured Customer Operations.
