Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure the integrity and security of databases, including backup and recovery processes
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decision-making
• Work closely with software developers to integrate database functionality into applications
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of databases for maximum efficiency
• Create and maintain documentation of database processes and procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and errors in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Apprentice or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Understanding of relational database management systems and SQL principles
• Knowledge of MySQL database administration and development
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures
• Experience working with database design, normalization, and performance tuning
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
