This role sits within Doctors.net.uk, a subsidiary of M3 Inc. Doctors.net.uk is the UK's largest professional network of doctors; a closed community used by over 50,000 doctors daily and with a total membership of over 245,000. Products range from a trusted email communications platform to robust news and educational web pages along with our world-class sponsored pharmaceutical content and doctors’ own user-generated content. Our mission is to continually improve these offerings as well as identifying new ways to support our community of doctors throughout their career.

As a technical designer, you will be building a variety of campaigns for clients in the pharmaceutical industry. These range from simple one-page adverts and marketing emails through to multi-page informational resources and education modules. Your strengths will lie in creating HTML pages from visual designs, ensuring excellent replication and attention to detail. You should have a good working knowledge of JavaScript/ jQuery and be comfortable working with APIs and interactive content.

Technical design implementation:

• Experience building websites in HTML/CSS and JavaScript, with a focus on responsive design
• An understanding and experience using APIs
• Hand-coding HTML based marketing emails
• Knowledge of HTML5 banner creation and Google Web Designer
• The ability to troubleshoot technical problems
• Be willing to support the team with technical issues

Essential:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/ jQuery.
• A solid understanding of responsive design and digital accessibility.
• Meticulous attention to detail and passion for accuracy in scientific communication.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
• A good problem solver
• Highly organised and motivated
• Strong proofreading skills
• Good communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• An enthusiastic team player with the desire to exceed expectations

Desirable:

• Familiarity with medical content, compliance regulations, and the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience/ interest in visual design
• Experience with GIT version control

May be required to work UK shift hours.
