Healthcare Litigation Attorney - 100% Remote
Our client, a highly regarded mid-sized law firm, is seeking an experienced Healthcare Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. This is a fully remote Litigation Attorney position offering the opportunity to work with a collaborative, nationally recognized practice group.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of litigation experience in complex matters. The role involves managing cases from inception through resolution, drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling hearings and mediations.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a healthcare litigation caseload
- Draft and respond to motions, discovery, and other pleadings
- Represent clients at depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and co-counsel to develop litigation strategies
- Maintain high-quality legal work product while working in a fully remote environment
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in California
- 2+ years of healthcare litigation experience (medical malpractice defense, payer/provider disputes, or regulatory litigation preferred)
- Strong writing, research, and case management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

- Must have at least 2 years of civil litigation experience.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- Proven ability to draft and argue complex legal motions.
- Familiarity with arbitration processes and trial preparation.
- Strong skills in legal research and factual analysis.
- Experience with depositions, particularly involving expert witnesses.
- Knowledge of healthcare-related litigation and contract interpretation is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
