MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team! This primarily remote position offers the opportunity to work on impactful, mission-driven projects with a strong focus on modern technologies. A one-time trip to Clarksburg, WV is required for processing with the customer.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, and maintain general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Customize software for client use to optimize functionality.
• Analyze and design databases within application areas, either individually or as part of a development team.
• Set operational specifications and formulate/analyze software requirements.  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 4+ years of IT-related experience, OR Associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Java in Linux environments.
• Experience with AWS, including AWS Lambda.
• Experience with NodeJS and Angular frameworks.  

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to starting this position.
• Priority given to candidates with a current/active Secret clearance.  

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally needs to move about inside the office to access equipment or files.
• Frequently operates a computer and other office machinery.
• Occasionally positions self to maintain lab computers, including under desks or in server closets.
• Regularly communicates with co-workers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information in these contexts.

The projected compensation range for this position is $74,300.00-$124,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
