Role Overview: We’re looking for a detail-oriented CPA who thrives in a flexible and dynamic setting. As a CPA / Tax Preparation Specialist with us, you will be responsible for handling a variety of tax and accounting-related tasks, including preparing returns and providing expert advice. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with accuracy.
  • Analyze financial information and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and offer strategic tax planning advice.
  • Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with partners and become an active contributor to the overall client development and growth of the practice.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare Financial Statements:

Create and review accurate financial statements and reports to keep our clients’ finances in top shape.

  • Tax Services:

Handle tax planning and preparation, ensuring our clients maximize their tax benefits and stay compliant with regulations.

  • Financial Analysis:

Provide insightful financial analysis and advice to help clients make informed decisions and plan for their future.

  • Payroll Compliance:

Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. What We’re Looking For:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License: A valid CPA license is essential to ensure you’re well-equipped to handle the complexities of our clients’ needs.
  • Experience and Expertise:

Minimum five years previous experience in accounting, tax preparation, and payroll compliance is a must. Familiarity with accounting/tax software and a solid understanding of financial regulations are required.

  • Attention to Detail:

Precision is key in accounting. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering accurate and thorough work.

  • Excellent Communication Skills:

Clear and effective communication is crucial. You should be able to explain financial concepts to clients in a way that’s easy to understand.
