Qualifications

This role requires a strong background in test automation development, with proficiency in Cypress and TypeScript (Mandatory), and a solid understanding of SQL. Critical thinking and analytical skills to develop innovative automation solutions for our enterprise tech stacks, are important. 5-7 years of experience in test automation development role using Cypress and Typescript. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript
• Write and execute simple to medium SQL queries to validate data and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand enterprise tech stacks and develop automation solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and provide solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
• Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and tools.

Work Authorization Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 5/21/2025. The annual salary for this position is between $ 53,477/- to $ 92,500/- depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
