Project Manager - HVAC/R - WFH w/ Day Travel

Project Manager - HVAC Refrigeration Position is WFH but will require 70% travel to projects in Silver Spring and the surrounding area Requires experience in the instillation of Refrigeration units into Supermarkets Position Overview The Project Manager - HVAC/R will oversee and manage HVAC and refrigeration projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure all project objectives are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HVAC and refrigeration projects for supermarkets and other commercial clients.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to HVAC and refrigeration.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess project status and address any issues that arise.
• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, including clients and senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management within the HVAC and refrigeration industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration technologies, and supermarket operations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project or CMiC.
• Familiarity with CO2 refrigeration systems and transcritical systems is a plus.
• Understanding of control systems and refrigeration controls from brands like DANFOSS and Emerson.
