Senior Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist for the Verification Automation team, your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and implement models and solutions specifically tailored for Identity Verification products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Product Managers, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and other data professionals.
You’ll help us protect honest people online by:
- Owning end-to-end responsibility of building production-ready machine learning models from prototyping to implementing the solution in the pipelines and measuring its impact on production
- Taking complete ownership of performance metrics for our machine learning models
- Influencing and shaping our machine learning models, evaluating external vendors, and improving the instrumentation to generate valuable insights and creating new machine learning products and models
- Establishing key metrics, deriving data-driven insights, and conducting experiments to assess the overall product impact of our machine learning solutions
- Working both independently and collaboratively with other engineers to define and deliver high-impact product features
You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have
- At least 6 years of professional SaaS industry experience, successfully delivering high-performance Machine Learning models
- Theoretical and applied knowledge in Machine Learning concepts with a special focus on Computer Vision
- Hands-on experience working with Deep Learning toolkits such as Tensorflow or PyTorch
- Proficiency in SQL
- Can effectively communicate the results and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, highly fluid, and multi-functional environment.
