Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity for a creative and strategic social media professional to take ownership of a growing service business’s entire digital marketing presence. You’ll work directly with the business owner in a collaborative partnership, contributing ideas and implementing marketing strategies that drive real business growth. This role offers the perfect blend of creative content creation, customer engagement, and strategic marketing planning, with significant potential for expansion as the business continues to grow. You’ll have the autonomy to make meaningful decisions while being supported by an engaged owner who values your expertise and input.

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish engaging daily content across Facebook and Instagram platforms
  • Perform video editing tasks including small edits and content creation (1-2 hours daily)
  • Manage community engagement by promptly responding to comments, questions, and social media interactions
  • Handle website content management including regular posting and updates
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and messages across all digital channels
  • Coordinate scheduling and appointment management to support business operations
  • Complete various administrative and marketing tasks that support daily business growth
  • Collaborate directly with the business owner through regular strategy meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Contribute creative ideas and strategic insights to help expand the company’s marketing reach

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in social media management or digital marketing
  • Strategic mindset with ability to think creatively and contribute innovative marketing ideas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration
  • Proficiency in video editing software and all major social media platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to independently manage multiple daily tasks and priorities
  • Available to work consistently during Eastern Time business hours (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM preferred)
  • Comfortable participating in regular collaborative meetings and strategic planning sessions
  • Self-motivated professional who thrives in a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial environment
