Role Overview :

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who brings deep technical expertise and strong leadership skills. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in architecting systems across the stack and enjoys mentoring engineers while making tangible business impacts. You’ll be at the heart of feature development—collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to build scalable, secure, and maintainable systems that fuel Jimdo’s vision.

Your impact:

• Architect, build, and maintain accessible, mobile-friendly Single Page Applications mainly using React and TypeScript.

• Contribute to our backend systems, mainly using Spring Boot / Kotlin.

• Develop and maintain robust Unit, Integration, and E2E tests.

• Optimize and expand our CI/CD pipelines.

• Drive technical refinements and cross-team efforts.

What you bring:

• 6+ years of experience in fullstack development within product-focused tech environments.

• Deep expertise in React, Node.js, and modern frontend tooling (e.g., Webpack, Vite).

• Solid understanding of HTTP, cookies, and JavaScript fundamentals.

• Knowledge of design systems, accessibility standards, and performance tuning.

• Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs, preferably with Kotlin and Spring Boot

• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and AWS cloud services.

• Strong advocate for the testing pyramid and the Twelve-Factor App principles.

• Proven ability to mentor and coach junior engineers.

• Effective communicator in a fully distributed, global team.
