The applicant will work in a dynamic environment and gain exposure across a broad spectrum of actuarial and data science disciplines, while also working directly with the business and the operations.Does this excite you? Read on!What You'll do:Build, clean, transform and analyze operational Claims data, tying with financial results to identify trends and areas for improvementDeliver insights and recommendations to optimize claims operations and influence Claims initiativesAutomate workflow in our data science platform to increase efficiency and ensure accuracyIdentify opportunities to accurately pay what we owe in claims indemnity and reduce expense to drive better financial resultsConduct competitive analysis by benchmarking our performance against the industry and identify areas where we can gain competitive advantageCollaborate and build close relationships with company-wide partners in various departments, including Claims, Corporate Actuarial, Pricing, Data Science, Underwriting and Risk.What you'll bring:Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related field;Minimum 2 years of full-time actuarial experience;Actively pursuing actuarial exams with minimum of 3 exams completed;Strong team player who is also able to work independently;Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent work ethic with a commitment to delivering resultsStrong analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through the technical implementation details while appreciating the big picture;Strong… Apply To This Job
