job summary: Role Overview: Senior Testing & QA Delivery Leader (with AI & Security Expertise) This is a senior-level role accountable for the strategy, execution, and leadership of testing efforts across enterprise-scale programs-especially where AI, cloud, and information security intersect. The leader owns delivery outcomes, builds scalable teams, and ensures alignment with technical and business priorities. location: San Antonio, Texas job type: Contract salary: $60 - 75 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Testing Strategy & Execution

• Designs and governs testing policies across technology domains.
• Ensures test plans cover onshore, offshore, and nearshore delivery models.

Security & Compliance Focus

• Embeds secure testing practices into the SDLC.
• Partners with security teams to ensure compliance with RMF and cloud security standards.

Architecture & SME Support

• Reviews and approves testing architectures and designs.
• Provides deep SME support on AI security, cloud, and data protection testing.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

• Mentors and builds a skilled QA workforce equipped for secure delivery.
• Minimizes risk through training, best practices, and governance.

Client Engagement & Pre-Sales

• Supports pre-sales efforts (RFIs, RFPs) and works directly with clients to design scalable, secure QA solutions.

Innovation & Optimization

• Stays current on emerging tools and techniques in AI testing, cybersecurity, and cloud delivery.
• Continuously improves QA processes for efficiency, cost-savings, and risk reduction.

qualifications: Top 3 Skills (in order of importance):

• AI and Information Security Experience - Minimum 7-10 years
• Expertise in integrating security practices within AI/ML development and testing processes.
• Strong understanding of AI-related vulnerabilities, secure model deployment, and data governance.
• RMF (Risk Management Framework) and Cloud Security Standards - Minimum 5-7 years
• Hands-on experience implementing and testing systems against NIST RMF, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, and cloud-specific security controls (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Applies security posture assessments and compliance checks throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Data Security, Secure SDLC & Network Layer Testing - Minimum 5-7 years
• Deep knowledge of network protocols, layers, and vulnerabilities.
• Experience in Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), change management, and asset management in large-scale environments.
