Responsibilities
- Assist the Foreman on job sites, following their guidance to ensure efficient installation
- Load necessary materials onto the work truck for each day’s tasks
- Drive company vehicles, including vans and trucks pulling trailers or mixers, to job sites
- Operate a variety of power and hand tools, including Hilti, grinders, hammer drills, and quickie saws
- Move materials using mixers and wheelbarrows
- Follow proper procedures when handling chemical agents and pressure washing equipment, ensuring surrounding surfaces are protected
- Protect walking areas with appropriate coverings such as plastic, cardboard, or carpeting
- Prepare surfaces by chipping, scraping, grinding, and priming them for bonding
- Level and smooth materials using a variety of tools, such as rakes, shovels, and trowels
- Maintain a clean and safe work site, ensuring the job area is organized and tidy
- Assist with repairs to any damage caused to the customer’s property
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they’re in top working condition
- Comply with all safety guidelines and company policies
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean daily
- Regularly clean and maintain vehicles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General knowledge of operating hand and power tools is required
- Experience with troweling concrete, decorative overlays, terrazzo, or epoxy rock is a plus
