About The Team:

The Fairmatic Product team is looking for a Product Manager for the Platform (Internal Tech Products) team. This team will own all tech investments that enable other product teams to deliver a world-class product and customer experience end to end. This will include working with both 3rd party systems and 1st party applications to enable our sales, marketing, underwriting, customer engagement, claims, and other teams to deliver a consistently delightful experience to our customers and partners end-to-end in an efficient, scalable manner.

A day in the life

  • Define the Enablement & Back Office Applications strategy and product roadmap, set metrics and goals that define ‘what success looks like’, and drive cross-functional work to achieve success.
  • Define and work cross-functionally to bring new tools, features, and/or processes to life that allow Fairmatic’s internal teams to operate efficiently and deliver a consistently delightful experience end-to-end.
  • Develop clear and concise written materials to align cross-functional teams around a shared vision or problem statement.
  • Regularly and proactively share progress toward solving prioritized problem statements and advancing on the shared vision.
  • Identify and understand from quantitative and qualitative metrics the opportunities the Enablement team should be focusing on to make the maximum impact.
  • Develop product hypotheses, design and conduct lean and focused experiments to prove or disprove them.
  • Partner with engineering, design, business operations, sales, marketing, underwriting, customer engagement, claims, and other internal cross-functional teams to develop products and tools that maximize value creation for our business.
  • Propose and champion ways in which the rest of the organization can help maximize value creation from your work.

  • You love to build. You’re obsessed with changing things for the better. You’ve been product managing for at least 3 years (ideally for internal customers) and are early in your journey—with no more than 5 years of total experience—and you love it.
  • You are a systems thinker. You have experience taking the customer journey and defining a roadmap for how 1st and/or 3rd party systems/services enable it to end to end.
  • You're hands-on. Not only can you see the big picture and how things tie together but you can dive into the weeds and execute whether it’s analyzing data or developing user personas.
  • You love working with diverse groups of people. Collaboration is in your DNA. When roadblocks arise you have an intuitive understanding of who to partner with to clear the path forward. You are comfortable speaking with stakeholders across a wide range of functions.
