About this Role

Manta Cares is committed to equipping oncology patients, caregivers, and clinicians with trusted, data-driven resources to improve healthcare decisions and quality of life throughout the cancer journey. We are looking for a Clinical Content Lead with a strong background in oncology pharmacy and informatics, as well as proficiency in clinical data tools and coding for data management. This role will leverage your expertise to develop evidence-based content that integrates real-world data, clinical guidelines, and digital health insights to support oncology care.

What You'll Lead

• Clinical Content Strategy & Data-Driven Planning: Develop an evidence-based content strategy that integrates clinical guidelines and data from resources like DailyMed, Epocrates, and other medical references. Prioritize oncology-related topics based on the needs of patients, caregivers, and clinicians.

• Clinical Content Creation & Data Management: Author, review, and edit high-quality, data-driven clinical content on oncology treatments, drug interactions, side-effect management, and supportive care. Collaborate with the digital health team to develop coding scripts (e.g., Python, SQL) to automate data management tasks and streamline content updates.

• Informatics Integration & Content Optimization: Use data analytics to monitor content performance and engagement. Optimize topics and delivery methods based on insights, and collaborate on developing interactive tools for enhanced patient education.

• Compliance, Clinical Review & Data Integrity: Ensure content aligns with clinical guidelines and regulatory standards. Work with compliance teams to adhere to legal and ethical standards, ensuring HIPAA and other relevant guidelines are followed.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to integrate the latest oncology data and feedback into content strategy. Mentor junior team members and represent Manta Cares as a subject-matter expert at industry events.

Who You Are

• Experience & Education: PharmD with specialized experience in clinical oncology (BCOP preferred) and a strong interest in informatics and data-driven decision-making.

• Oncology Expertise: 4+ years of experience in a patient-facing oncology role, with a focus on counseling, side-effect management, and triage in a large oncology practice.

• Clinical Data Proficiency: Skilled in using clinical data resources like DailyMed, Epocrates, and oncology guidelines (NCCN, ASCO, FDA). Familiar with data management and coding tools (e.g., Python, SQL) for content optimization.

• Strong Communicator: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex medical concepts into clear, accessible content for patients and healthcare professionals.

• Mission-Driven: Passionate about patient-centered communication, digital health innovation, and leveraging informatics to improve the oncology care experience.
