Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive QA testing strategy for web applications, SDKs, APIs, and blockchain technology.

• Design, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases to identify issues with software before the product launch.

• Collaborate with development teams to understand product specifications and create appropriate testing environments.

• Provide guidance and support to external game teams, assisting them in building and enhancing their QA departments and processes.

• Manage the entire lifecycle of defect recognition, documentation, regression testing, and validation of fixes.

• Perform both automated and manual testing, including but not limited to functional, integration, stress, performance, and security testing.

• Keep abreast of new testing tools and strategies to improve the testing process and ensure product quality.

• Identify and manage relationships with external QA resources to augment internal capabilities as needed.

• Report to technical product leadership, providing regular updates on the progress and results of testing efforts.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a QA tester or similar role in the software development industry.

• Prior QA experience in gaming or web3 industries.

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude and a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

• Passionate about gaming or blockchain technology, with a drive to deliver high-quality, user-centric products.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with automated testing tools.

• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

• A deep understanding of blockchain technology and its application in gaming is highly advantageous.

• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.

• Experience in building a QA team from scratch is highly desirable.

• Prior experience with programming languages and familiarity with modern CI/CD approaches.
